The main floor is a bright open layout: a fully stocked kitchen, a dining area and a living room. A king bedroom with its own bathroom sits on this floor, along with a half bathroom for guests.

Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and 1 with twin beds, sharing a full bathroom.

The yard between the 2 homes belongs to this listing only. There is a heated and chilled pool with lounge seating, a shaded gazebo with a dining table and ceiling fans, an outdoor TV, a grill and a ping pong table. String lights run overhead. A Tesla EV charger is on site.

The back home is not included, and neither is the backyard behind it. If you want both homes together, ask us about availability.

You get the entire front home plus the private yard between the 2 homes, including the heated and chilled pool, lounge chairs, gazebo with dining table and fans, outdoor TV, grill, ping pong table and the Tesla EV charger. The back home and the backyard behind it are not included.

A few notes

This listing does not include the back home or its private backyard. Guests staying there pass through the exterior walkway along the fence to reach their entrance. Give them their privacy and keep outdoor noise considerate.

This is a quiet residential neighborhood, so no parties, loud gatherings or disturbances. Keep noise reasonable through the day, and after 10pm no sound should carry beyond the property line. Those are City of Austin regulations.

No smoking anywhere on the property. No pets. Children need an adult with them at the pool.

The Backyard Bliss is in East Austin, close enough to walk a few blocks to coffee shops, food trucks and the kind of restaurants nobody advertises. Texas barbecue, craft cocktails and a morning pastry are all in that range.

Rosewood Park, with its green space, trails and community pool, is close by. East 6th Street is a short ride for bars and live music. The area fills up for SXSW and ACL, and the street the home sits on stays residential and quiet.

    Guest Haus was perfect! We stayed there with our two kids while visiting friends and family in Austin. The house was amazing - beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable. The pool was perfect for our kids to stay cool in the Austin heat and the covered patio great for sharing meals with family. We'll definitely book this place again on our next trip to Austin!

    Had such a great time at this place! It completely exceeded our expectations. The pool and backyard area was a highlight and the cooling feature of the pool was amazing with the Texas heat. Beautiful home with comfy beds and the couch was fantastic. We are still talking about the couch. Host was so great and replied quick and was so helpful to the small problem we had (which had nothing to do with them or the airbnb!) Definitely worth the money and worth your stay if you are in Austin! 5 minute drive from 6th street and amazing restaurants in walking distance. 10/10!

    We had an amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better Airbnb! The home was absolutely beautiful, even better than the photos, and it was spotless from the moment we arrived. You could tell a lot of care goes into keeping the home clean and well-maintained.

    The amenities were fantastic and definitely worth the price. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to feel comfortable throughout our stay, which made the trip so much more enjoyable. Our host was also incredibly helpful, answering our questions about the grill and providing great local recommendations that made our weekend even better.

    Overall, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. The combination of a gorgeous home, exceptional cleanliness, thoughtful amenities, and a welcoming, responsive host made for a perfect stay. We would absolutely book here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

    First, the house was spotless and had so many hang spots. The pool was perfect to hang in with friends. Heated to a perfect temp. The beds were out of this world comfortable, which I think is rare. I would stay here any time and I wish more AirBnBs were this good.

    I stayed with three other friends and no issues with the space! Everything turned out to be as advertised, and I was surprised at all the utensils/tools available in the kitchen. We didn’t use the grill but it looked like everything you could need was ready to use. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Austin!

    We had an amazing stay! The place was spacious, super clean, and clearly well prepared for guests. There was plenty to do board games, a speaker for music, plus pool and table tennis, which made it even more fun. Everything felt thoughtfully set up, and we were really comfortable the whole time.     My friends and I stayed here for a weekend trip and had a great stay at this house. The pictures were just like the advertisement on Airbnb and the house was a perfect place to rest after a long day or night in downtown Austin. The backyard patio and pool were a great amenity to use during the warm afternoons. The owners were fantastic to work with if we had any questions or needed early check in or check out. When I go back to Austin I will definitely try to see if this house is available again.

    I've booked many Airbnbs over the years, and this one is sooooo lovely! We celebrated a birthday here with plenty of room for a girls sleepover. Everything was SO clean and the decor is lovely. You can tell a lot of love went into this place. We felt very safe here and enjoyed our dip in the pool. Fantastic hosts!

1. CHECK IN /CHECK OUT - Check in time is 4:00 PM. Check out time is 11:00 AM. Unless otherwise authorized by the Host.

2. PARTIES AND EVENTS - We do not allow parties, loud gatherings or events of any sort to be held in the property. We greatly appreciate your compliance on this as we do not want any issues with our neighbors or the city. Any reports or evidence of a party or organized event taking place will lead to an immediate vacation of the property, without reimbursement.

3. NOISE - Please keep the noise level down after 10 p.m., in accordance with the city bylaws and to not disturb the neighbors.

4. BROKEN ITEMS - Please inform the Host of any damages or broken items noticed upon your arrival. Furthermore, accidents happen and if something breaks during your stay, please inform us, in order for us to replace or repair it prior to a following Guest's stay.

5. NEIGHBORS - Guests must notify the Host of any complaints from neighbors as soon as possible.

6. PETS - We do not allow pets or animals of any sort. Any evidence of pets or animals will be subject to an additional cleaning fee of $500.

7. SMOKING - Smoking is not permitted inside the property, or outside while still in the premises of the property. Any evidence of smoking on the property premises will incur an additional cleaning fee of $1,000.

8. VISITORS - Guests are responsible for their visitors. Visitors must comply with the House Rules, and Guests will be held liable for any violation as if the violation was carried out by the Guests.

9. GARBAGE AND RECYCLING - Guests are to dispose of garbage and recycling into the allocated bins. Excess rubbish must not be left in public or common areas.

10. SECURITY - Guests must ensure that all doors, windows and gates are properly locked every time they leave the property, and at the end of their stay. Failure to maintain the security of the property (locking doors and windows) will result in a $200 fine and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages/theft that occur during their stay.

11. ACCESS - Guests at the front house do not have access to the back house or its backyard. Entry into these areas is not permitted.

12. POOL - Swimming is at your own risk. All children must be accompanied by an adult while in the pool area. For your safety, no diving or jumping into the pool is permitted. Please do not run around the pool area.

Please keep all glass and food away from the pool, and clean up after yourselves.

Please keep noise levels to a reasonable level to respect our neighbors.

Do not tamper with pool equipment or attempt to adjust pool settings.

If there are any issues with the pool, or anything is broken and/or spilled into the pool, please contact us immediately.

13. BBQ GRILL - Feel free to use the BBQ grill during your stay, but if you’re unfamiliar with how to operate a gas grill, just let us know — we’re happy to help. Always make sure the grill is turned off completely after each use and never leave it unattended while in use. Once it has fully cooled down, please clean the grill grates and any mess left behind. This helps keep it in great condition for the next guests.

14. FIREWORKS - The use of fireworks anywhere on the property premises is strictly forbidden, subject to a a $500 fine and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.

15. PARKING - Guests may park in front of the Tesla EV charger (marked Unit A) or directly in front of the front house door. Do not park in the B spot, and do not block access for back house guests who need to park in front of the B spot. Vehicles must not extend past the painted line on the ground, as this path must remain clear for back house renters to access their home.

16. REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS - Every attempt is made to maintain the property in the best of condition. The Host does not guarantee that appropriate repair and or replacement will be performed during the Guests' stay. It is the Guests' responsibility to immediately notify the Host of any issues with the property during their stay so that repairs and or replacement may be promptly taken care of to the best of the Host's ability.

The Host is not responsible for any occurrences to which we have no immediate control. These inconveniences include but are not limited to: weather conditions, power outages, road conditions or breakage of non-essential appliances (including, but not limited to: dishwasher, grill, pool heater, washer and dryer)

*Please inform us if any of the equipment in the house is not operating correctly. We will make every reasonable effort to make repairs as quickly as possible.

17. TOILET - Do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper. This can cause plumbing issues and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.

Cancellation

Cancel 7 or more days before check-in for a full refund, less a 3% payment processing fee. Inside 7 days, the booking is non-refundable.
