The space

The living room is relaxed and flows into the dining area, so meals, board games and movie nights all happen in the same stretch of the home. The kitchen is fully stocked, and a dedicated laundry area handles longer stays.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The primary has a king bed and its own ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 bunk beds. The third has a queen bed.

The converted garage is the game room: arcade games, retro consoles, foosball, multiple TVs, climbing walls, monkey bars, giant games and a popcorn machine. A large couch sits in there for watching, resting or sleeping.

Outside, the private playground gives kids another place to run.

A few notes

This is a quiet residential neighborhood, so no parties or loud gatherings. Keep noise at a reasonable level through the day, and after 10pm nothing should carry beyond the property line. That is a City of Austin rule.

No smoking anywhere on the property. No pets. Children need an adult with them at the playground.

    The house was comfortable and exactly as listed. The game room was a fun amenity. The location was pretty centrally located so it was easy to get all around Austin. It’s also about 15 minutes to the airport. Definitely recommend as a fun place to stay when visiting the city.

    Absolutely adored our stay.
    from the activities available , all the way down to the decor , I loved it.

    it’s very homey and easy to relax,
    and for anything we forgot , the H-E-B is basically across the street !

    on top of that the hosts were very friendly and welcoming, were always available to answer any questions !

    I would definitely stay here again! We planned a very busy weekend and this house was within 15 to 20 min of everything. The house had plenty of room for all of us and we enjoyed the entertainment room!

    We really enjoyed our stay. The drive to Kalahari was a short distance which was the reason we were visiting the area.
    The place was clean and had what we needed. Heb was literally around the corner which was perfect since we cooked at the house. The kids had a blast in the game room.

    This house was incredible. My girlfriend is an absolute clean freak and she loved it. We made great memories with the kids in the game room and cooked several meals in the kitchen.

    The beds were very comfortable, the decor was awesome, and everything worked.

    We stayed here for 6 days and it was awesome! I loved the decor and the house was stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a lot of children in our group, and they especially loved the game room and backyard. The host was super responsive and helpful when a couple questions popped up during our stay.     My friends and I had a great time overall at the Guest Haus Airbnb! The only minor complaint we had was that none of the outlets in the bathrooms and many outside of bathrooms didn’t work. With 9 people to get ready for dinner(girls curling their hair, etc) and phones needed to be charged, this was an inconvenience considering what we paid for the night. Overall, great experience!

    We loved our stay here!! We visited with two little ones and this house was exactly what we needed. There was plenty of space for them to run and play outside with wonderful things to do inside as well. The rock wall and game area in the garage were really amazing and can be used for all ages. We had a fun movie night on the giant couch with popcorn and snacks. The kitchen has most of what you need to make meals and the appliances were nice and clean. Everything was decorated in a really fun way and easy to tidy before we left. We would love to come stay here again soon. Highly recommend!

    Best Air BNB we have stayed in. We were looking for a fun sleepover home for our girls and this place was perfection. The home was beautiful and clean. The bath supplies provided smelt so good and were good quality; hot water was hot and plenty of it. The kitchen supplies were new and well kept, we had everything we needed. The kids area was amazing, inside and out.

    I highly recommend this home for a family but also for a fun adult spot. Thanks so much for providing what you hope every Air BNB will be…. A great, worry free home!

    We had a wonderful stay at this home and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was incredibly clean, fresh, and well maintained, which made it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. 1. CHECK IN /CHECK OUT - Check in time is 4:00 PM. Check out time is 11:00 AM. Unless otherwise authorized by the Host.

2. PARTIES AND EVENTS - We do not allow parties, loud gatherings or events of any sort to be held in the property. We greatly appreciate your compliance on this as we do not want any issues with our neighbors or the city. Any reports or evidence of a party or organized event taking place will lead to an immediate vacation of the property, without reimbursement.

3. NOISE - Please keep the noise level down after 10 p.m., in accordance with the city bylaws and to not disturb the neighbors.

4. BROKEN ITEMS - Please inform the Host of any damages or broken items noticed upon your arrival. Furthermore, accidents happen and if something breaks during your stay, please inform us, in order for us to replace or repair it prior to a following Guest's stay.

5. NEIGHBORS - Guests must notify the Host of any complaints from neighbors as soon as possible.

6. PETS - We do not allow pets or animals of any sort. Any evidence of pets or animals will be subject to an additional cleaning fee of $500.

7. SMOKING - Smoking is not permitted inside the property, or outside while still in the premises of the property. Any evidence of smoking on the property premises will incur an additional cleaning fee of $1,000.

8. VISITORS - Guests are responsible for their visitors. Visitors must comply with the House Rules, and Guests will be held liable for any violation as if the violation was carried out by the Guests.

9. GARBAGE AND RECYCLING - Guests are to dispose of garbage and recycling into the allocated bins. Excess rubbish must not be left in public or common areas.

10. SECURITY - Guests must ensure that all doors, windows and gates are properly locked every time they leave the property, and at the end of their stay. Failure to maintain the security of the property (locking doors and windows) will result in a $200 fine and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages/theft that occur during their stay.

11. PLAYGROUND - Children must be supervised at all times while using the playground. The equipment should be used only as intended, with no rough play or overcrowding. Playground use is at your own risk, and we ask that guests do not allow use when surfaces are wet or slippery. Please help us keep the playground safe and enjoyable for everyone by following these guidelines.

12. ROCK CLIMBING & MONKEY BARS - Rock climbing walls and monkey bars are used at your own risk. Children must be supervised at all times, and only one person may use each structure at a time. Proper footwear is required, and the equipment should not be used when surfaces are wet or slippery. The green safety mat must always be placed underneath the climbing areas before use.

13. FIREWORKS - The use of fireworks anywhere on the property premises is strictly forbidden, subject to a a $500 fine and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.

14. REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS - Every attempt is made to maintain the property in the best of condition. The Host does not guarantee that appropriate repair and or replacement will be performed during the Guests' stay. It is the Guests' responsibility to immediately notify the Host of any issues with the property during their stay so that repairs and or replacement may be promptly taken care of to the best of the Host's ability.

The Host is not responsible for any occurrences to which we have no immediate control. These inconveniences include but are not limited to: weather conditions, power outages, road conditions or breakage of non-essential appliances (including, but not limited to: dishwasher, grill, pool heater, washer and dryer)

*Please inform us if any of the equipment in the house is not operating correctly. We will make every reasonable effort to make repairs as quickly as possible.

15. TOILET - Do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper. This can cause plumbing issues and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.

Cancellation

Cancel 7 or more days before check-in for a full refund, less a 3% payment processing fee. Inside 7 days, the booking is non-refundable.
