The living area has a sofa bed, armchairs, a dining nook and a kitchenette with a mini fridge and a Nespresso machine. There is no full kitchen here, which is worth knowing before you book.

The space

The living area has floor-to-ceiling windows dressed in blush linen curtains, a charcoal sofa bed, 2 green chenille armchairs, a flat screen TV and a dining nook. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, a Nespresso Vertuo machine and complimentary pods. There is no full kitchen.

The bedroom is calm and considered: a forest green channel-tufted velvet headboard, warm lighting and a walk-in closet. Bedding for the sofa bed is stored in here.

The bathroom has a walk-in glass shower with designer geometric tile and matte black hardware throughout.

Guest access

The loft suite is yours. The main home, the game room below and all the outdoor space, including the pool, hot tub, fire pit, putting green and outdoor cinema, are not included and will have their own guests.

A few notes

A train passes directly behind the property and can be heard from the loft. We keep earplugs at the property.

The game room used by other guests is directly below the loft. When it's occupied, some noise may be audible up here.

This is a quiet residential neighborhood, so no parties or loud gatherings, and nothing audible past the property line after 10pm, in line with City of Austin rules. No smoking anywhere on the property. No pets.

The Mount Vernon Loft sits at the back of a property in South Austin, above the game room. South Congress and its shops and restaurants are close by, and St. Elmo's craft breweries and local restaurants are close as well.

Zilker Park and Barton Springs are nearby. Downtown is a short drive, and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is a short drive in the other direction. There is live music across this part of the city most nights of the week.

    Perfect Airbnb for a relaxing stay. Large TV , great shower and lots of room. Will book whenever I am in Austin

1. CHECK IN /CHECK OUT - Check in time is 4:00 PM. Check out time is 11:00 AM. Unless otherwise authorized by the Host.

2. PARTIES AND EVENTS - We do not allow parties, loud gatherings or events of any sort to be held in the property. We greatly appreciate your compliance on this as we do not want any issues with our neighbors or the city. Any reports or evidence of a party or organized event taking place will lead to an immediate vacation of the property, without reimbursement.

3. NOISE - Please keep the noise level down throughout the day, but especially after 10 p.m. in accordance with the city bylaws and to not disturb the neighbors.

4. BROKEN ITEMS - Please inform the Host of any damages or broken items noticed upon your arrival. Furthermore, accidents happen and if something breaks during your stay, please inform us, in order for us to replace or repair it prior to a following Guest's stay.

5. NEIGHBORS - Guests must notify the Host of any complaints from neighbors as soon as possible.

6. PETS - We do not allow pets or animals of any sort. Any evidence of pets or animals will be subject to an additional cleaning fee of $500.

7. SMOKING - Smoking is not permitted inside the property, or outside while still in the premises of the property. Any evidence of smoking on the property premises will incur an additional cleaning fee of $1,000.

8. VISITORS - Guests are responsible for their visitors. Visitors must comply with the House Rules, and Guests will be held liable for any violation as if the violation was carried out by the Guests.

9. GARBAGE AND RECYCLING - Guests are to dispose of garbage and recycling into the allocated bins. Excess rubbish must not be left in public or common areas.

10. SECURITY - Guests must ensure that all doors, windows and gates are properly locked every time they leave the property, and at the end of their stay. Failure to maintain the security of the property (locking doors and windows) will result in a $200 fine and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages/theft that occur during their stay.

11. FIREWORKS - The use of fireworks anywhere on the property premises is strictly forbidden, subject to a a $500 fine and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.

12. PARKING - Parking is limited to 1 vehicle in the driveway. Free street parking is also available.

13. REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS - Every attempt is made to maintain the property in the best of condition. The Host does not guarantee that appropriate repair and or replacement will be performed during the Guests' stay. It is the Guests' responsibility to immediately notify the Host of any issues with the property during their stay so that repairs and or replacement may be promptly taken care of to the best of the Host's ability.

The Host is not responsible for any occurrences to which we have no immediate control. These inconveniences include but are not limited to: weather conditions, power outages, road conditions or breakage of non-essential appliances (including, but not limited to: dishwasher, grill, pool heater, washer and dryer)

*Please inform us if any of the equipment in the house is not operating correctly. We will make every reasonable effort to make repairs as quickly as possible.

14. TOILET - Do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper. This can cause plumbing issues and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.

Cancellation

Cancel 7 or more days before check-in for a full refund, less a 3% payment processing fee. Inside 7 days, the booking is non-refundable.
