A condo in a resort community on the north shore of Lake Travis, with a balcony that looks out over the water. Inside, the living space is open and the kitchen is fully equipped, with private bedrooms and a separate bunk room. Guests can use the community's Beach Club, with pools, a hot tub, a fitness center, pickleball and basketball courts, a beach volleyball court and a playground. NorthShore Marina has lake access and boat rentals, and scenic trails run through the community.

The space

The condo has an open living space. There are 2 private bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, and a bunk room with 2 bunk beds.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Off the living space, the balcony takes in panoramic views of Lake Travis.

The community amenities are what set this one apart. The Beach Club has pools, a hot tub and a fitness center, plus a children's pool area, a beach volleyball court and pickleball and basketball courts. Scenic trails run through the community, and NorthShore Marina offers boat rentals and lake access. The Hilltop Smokehouse is an outdoor spot for BBQ evenings, and there are grilling areas as well.

A few notes

The pools, hot tub, fitness center, courts and playground belong to the community's Beach Club and are shared with everyone who lives in and visits The Hollows. They are not part of the condo, so there is no private pool here.

This condo sits in a community, so there is zero tolerance for parties, loud gatherings or disturbances. Keep noise at a reasonable level through the day, and quiet hours after 10pm are strict.

No smoking anywhere on the property. Children must be supervised at all times when using the community amenities.

The north shore of Lake Travis.

The Hollows sits along the north shore of Lake Travis, in the Texas Hill Country. NorthShore Marina is inside the community, with boat rentals and direct lake access, and hiking and biking trails run through it. The Beach Club is the center of activity, with pools, hot tubs, a children's pool and beach volleyball, and the Hilltop Smokehouse is an outdoor spot for grilling and gathering.

Jonestown and Lago Vista are a short drive, with dining, shopping and local events. Austin is further out, with its live music and restaurants, but the community itself stays quiet and set apart.

    This place is really lovely! We booked just a one-night get-away to celebrate my twins' 18th birthday, so it was just me and a few teenaged boys, and it was simply perfect -- we all wanted to stay longer! The group of boys are adult enough that they really felt pampered by the location, and kid enough that splashing in the pool, kicking around a hackysack on the grass, and sitting around the big table playing games was absolute perfection. I confess that the check-in process felt a bit strict/intimidating -- there are property-related liability forms you have to fill out, and several rules-related reminders -- which made me feel kinda awkward about our plans even though I was upfront from the beginning that we were having a little celebration. If you're like me and you find legalese forms off-putting, I just want to reassure you that that's not the actual vibe at the location. The place is really nice and low-key, and our liaison at Guest Haus was super responsive and friendly, so I almost regret the minimum amount of stress that I felt about all the rules that they send you. Don't let that freak you out! It's not super strict and rules-y, it just kinda feels that way going in. And the place is super clean and nice, so clearly the rules are helping them!We would definitely go back, and stay longer! Such a sweet place to get-away to!

    Host should inform guests to adjust thermostat for comfort. It was set on a schedule which did not allow proper cooling at night.Marina should be accessible for guests but owner did not know the code.Great pool and lake view, hot tub not working

    We loved our stay! Spent a few minutes organizing the kitchen because someone had made it chaotic (random things in random places), but once that was done, we had a relaxing awesome visit. Could watch the sunrise with coffee on the patio with the fog on the lake - probably my favorite thing! We also had our dog with us, and he had a wonderful time exploring the nature close by to the condo. Overall great visit!

    The condo was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful with the view of the lake! The beds were super comfortable, we slept great. While we were there, we enjoyed the pickleball courts, soaked in the hot tub, played the WII, and a few board games. We would definitely recommend for families!

    The place was great besides the pool and hot tub are no where close to the condo, maybe I did not read details close enough but by the pictures on website it looked like pool and hot tub were right outside not a drive down the road. Place was clean and comfortable and really like that it had an elevator being that condo was 3 stories up!

    Bedding and baths were clean. Leftover personal items. The entire kitchen and bath floors were sticky, there was pizza boxes, leftover food in pantry and the appliances were not clean. The furniture was in disrepair and stained as well as the rug. Many photos and reports were made with no response. The access code did not work upon arrival. Suggesting remove all food, including old spices and any old coffee creamers or coffee. Deep clean appliances/cabinets, replace vent filter, remove/replace broken or damaged kitchen tools, dishes. Clean or replace damaged or stained furnishings. Add extra blankets for beds. This is a great location and great resort amenities. But it feels more like a bed and breakfast than a resort condo. Price should reflect the condition.

    I had a great experience with the Jonestown team, the neighborhood is really nice, peaceful and quiet. I'm sure it's a lot of fun with the lake and other amenities in the summer, I was passing through in winter and wanted a peaceful home away from home to work out of and this space was perfect for that! If you had a family or were traveling with company looking for a well decorated space that is cozy and relaxing, this is it! Kitchen had a lot of options, very clean, a patio, bedroom with a lake view -- awesome :) Very good communication from the hosts, able to answer any questions and provide helpful tips when asked. I'll definitely try and reserve again if I'm in the area.

1. CHECK IN /CHECK OUT - Check in time is 4:00 PM. Check out time is 11:00 AM. Unless otherwise authorized by the Host.

2. PARTIES AND EVENTS - We do not allow parties, loud gatherings or events of any sort to be held in the property. We greatly appreciate your compliance on this as we do not want any issues with our neighbors or the city. Any reports or evidence of a party or organized event taking place will lead to an immediate vacation of the property, without reimbursement.

3. NOISE - Please keep the noise level down after 10 p.m., in accordance with the community bylaws and to not disturb the neighbors.

4. BROKEN ITEMS - Please inform the Host of any damages or broken items that noticed upon your arrival. Furthermore, accidents happen and if something breaks during your stay, please inform us, in order for us to replace or repair it prior to a following guest's stay.

5. NEIGHBORS - Guests must notify the Host of any complaints from neighbors or members of the community as soon as possible.

6. SMOKING - Smoking is not permitted inside the property or on the balcony. Any evidence of smoking will incur an additional cleaning fee of $500.

7. VISITORS - Guests are responsible for their visitors. Visitors must comply with the House Rules, and guests will be held liable for any violation as if the violation was carried out by the guests.

8. GARBAGE - Guests are to dispose of garbage into the building's allocated bins. Excess rubbish must not be left in public or common areas.

9. SECURITY - Guests must ensure that all doors and windows are properly locked every time they leave the property, and at the end of their stay. Failure to maintain the security of the property (locking doors and windows) will result in a $200 fine and guests will be held responsible for any related damages/theft that occur during their stay.

10. FIREWORKS - The use of fireworks anywhere on the property premises is strictly forbidden, subject to a a $500 fine and guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.

11. REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS - Every attempt is made to maintain the property in the best of condition. The Host does not guarantee that appropriate repair and or replacement will be performed during the guests' stay. It is the guests' responsibility to immediately notify the Host of any issues with the property during their stay so that repairs and or replacement may be promptly taken care of to the best of the the Host's ability.

The Host is not responsible for any occurrences to which we have no immediate control. These inconveniences include but are not limited to: weather conditions, power outages, road conditions or breakage of non-essential appliances.

*Please inform us if any of the equipment in the house is not operating correctly. We will make every reasonable effort to make repairs as quickly as possible.

12. TOILET - Do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper. This can cause plumbing issues and guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.

13. COMMON AREAS - Please be respectful of the common areas that are shared by all of the community members, guests and owners of the units in the building. Do not leave trash or belongings outside of the unit and respect all rules and regulations.

14. COMMUNITY RULES - There are additional rules and regulations for the community amenities and enforced by the POA. These can be found on the form signed prior to your arrival, and around the amenities themselves. Please respect all community rules, to avoid eviction by the POA, for which we have no control over.

Cancellation

Cancel 7 or more days before check-in for a full refund, less a 3% payment processing fee. Inside 7 days, the booking is non-refundable.
