About the home

A pool home built around its backyard. Sliding doors off the kitchen and the lounge open straight onto a private pool, a grill, an outdoor dining table and a firepit. Upstairs there is a second living space with a leather sofa, a large TV and a workspace set up with multiple monitors. Pets are welcome.

The space

The first floor holds a bunk room with 3 twin beds and a full bathroom beside it. The main living area sits alongside: the kitchen opens into a bright lounge, and sliding doors lead from there to the backyard.

The backyard is built around the pool, framed by greenery. There are loungers, shade to sit under, a BBQ grill and an outdoor dining table. A firepit handles the later end of the evening.

Upstairs, the primary suite has a king bed. Two guest rooms have a queen and a full. The second living space up there has a leather sofa, a large TV and a full workspace with multiple monitors.

Guest access

The whole home and the backyard are yours. The garage is not included and most closets are locked, though every bedroom has a dresser for clothes.

A few notes

This is a quiet residential neighborhood, so no parties or loud gatherings. Keep noise at a reasonable level through the day, and after 10pm nothing should carry beyond the property line. That is a City of Austin rule.

No smoking anywhere on the property. Children need an adult with them at the pool.

The neighborhood

A quiet street in Crestview.

Crestview is central and residential, tree shaded and light on traffic. Little Deli, Violet Crown Wine Bar and Brentwood Social House are all right around the corner, along with coffee shops and neighborhood breweries.

Burnet Road, Lamar and Highway 183 are all easy to reach from here, which puts downtown, the Domain and the UT campus each a short drive away. The home itself stays out of the noise.

This rental was great! Very clean and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The neighborhood was quiet and close to downtown and many great restaurants. We enjoyed the pool and appreciated that it was heated. We definitely would recommend!

We stayed for 10 days and it was perfect! The home was incredibly well-maintained and clean. Despite the hot Summer the AC kept the house cool. The internet was super fast and reliable. The pool is maintained and cleaned regularly. We didn’t have to contact the host for anything at all. Everything just worked as expected and we had everything we needed. Located in a quiet neighborhood near a park, a nice walking street, coffee shops, tiny grocery store, and restaurants. Excellent experience.

Great place and loads of space and natural light. The only downside was that one of the door hinges were broken for the main bedroom so we couldn’t close it completely the whole time. I mentioned it and they did send a screwdriver right away but we weren’t strong enough to fix it. Otherwise, it was lovely place with loads around!

We had the best stay here! They were super responsive and helpful and took care of everything that we needed during our stay. The pool is so nice and clean and well maintained. It is in a great area, super close to everything. Will definitely be staying here again!
